    WARNING: FETAL TOXICITY

    When pregnancy is detected, discontinue benazepril hydrochloride tablets as soon as possible.

    Drugs that act directly on the renin-angiotensin system can cause injury and death to the developing fetus [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)].
