INDICATIONS & USAGE
INDICATIONS:
VITAL E–A+D3 is a clear, sterile, non-aqueous solution of vitamins A, Vitamin D and Vitamin E. The product is intended as a supplemental source of vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E for cattle, sheep, and swine.
Natural Vitamin A (carotenoids) and tocopherols can be destroyed in feedstuffs through processing, ensiling, and storage. Due to those losses reduced intakes of fat-soluble vitamins can in animals maintained in continual confinement compared top animals allowed to graze lush pasture. Intramuscular or subcutaneous injections offer an efficient and rapid method to increase vitamin A, vitamin D, and vitamin E status of the animals.
Vitamin A activity is provided as retinyl palmitate, the biological storage form of vitamin A and vitamin E activity is provided as d-alpha-tocopherol, the natural and biologically active form of vitamin E.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Intramuscular or Subcutaneous Adminstration Only, may be repeated. If dose is greater than 5 mL, equally divide dose and inject at two different sites.

CATTLE (Dairy and Beef)
Cows and Heifers 8-10 mL
Calves
At Birth 4-6 mL
At Weaning 4-6 mL
Yearlings 5-6 mL

Ewes 4-5 mL

At Birth: .5-1 mL
At Weaning 2-3 mL
SWINE
Sows and Gilts

PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION: Anaphylactoid or allergic reactions, which may result in deaths, abortion, and/or premature births, may occur in individual animals as well as entire herds. Should such reactions or hypersensitivity occur, treat immediately with injection of epinephrine and/or antihistamines.
Do Not Exceed Recommended Dosage.
