  • ACTIVE INGREDIENT

    Active Ingredient:  Benzalkonium Chloride:  1.5%  in an exclusive Quatracin conditioning base.

  • PURPOSE

    Mane 'n Tail Pro-Tect Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo provides complete broad spectrum effectiveness that eliminates all of these organisms with proven results for faster healing.

  • INDICATIONS & USAGE

    Suggested Use:  For horses and other animals.  Not for use on cats or puppies.  Use daily to clear up initial problems.  For preventive treatment use weekly or more often as needed.

    Directions:  Pre-wet the coat with clear water.  Add Mane 'n Tail Pro-Tect Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo into a bucket of water (2 to 4 ounces per gallon of water).  Apply shampoo solution with a sponge or soft brush and massage until lather appears.  Allow lather to remain for 10 minutes.  Rinse thoroughly.  For more severe problems follow up with deep penetrating Pro-Tect Antimicrobial Topical Skin and Wound Treatment.

  • WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

    General Precautions:  For external veterinary use only.  Pro-Tect effectiveness may be reduced if used in conjunction with other shampoo and treatment products.  Consult a veterinarian if any problems persist or are of concern.  Keep out of the reach of children.  Keep product from freezing.
