What is the most important information I should know about omeprazole delayed-release capsules?

You should take omeprazole delayed-release capsules exactly as prescribed, at the lowest dose possible and for the shortest time needed.

If you miss a dose of omeprazole delayed-release capsules, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, do not take the missed dose. Take the next dose at your regular time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time to make up for the missed dose.

What are the ingredients in
omeprazole delayed-release capsules?

Active ingredient in
omeprazole delayed-release capsules: omeprazole

Inactive ingredients in
omeprazole delayed-release capsules: disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, mannitol, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, microcrystalline cellulose, mono and di-glycerides, polysorbate, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, and triethyl citrate. In addition, the empty hard gelatin capsule shells also contain gelatin and iron oxide red. The capsules are printed with edible ink containing black iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, shellac and strong ammonia solution.
