What is the most important information I should know about venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules?

Venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules and other antidepressant medicines may cause serious side effects, including:

What are the ingredients in venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules?


Active ingredient: Venlafaxine hydrochloride


Inactive ingredients:

Extended-Release Capsules: Ethyl cellulose, hypromellose, sugar spheres, and talc. The empty hard gelatin capsule shells contain iron oxide red, gelatin, titanium dioxide, and sodium lauryl sulphate. In addition, the 37.5 mg empty hard gelatin capsule shells contain iron oxide black. The capsules are printed with edible ink containing black iron oxide and shellac.
