What are the ingredients in fluoxetine capsules USP?
Active ingredient: fluoxetine hydrochloride, USP
Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, pregelatinized corn starch, and simethicone. The capsule shell contains gelatin, titanium dioxide, and FD&C Blue #2. The imprinting ink contains ammonium hydroxide, iron oxide black, propylene glycol and shellac glaze. In addition, the 40 mg capsule shell also contains D&C Red #28, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Blue #1, and FD&C Red #40.
