TUMIL-K® Gel

INDICATION: For use as a supplement in potassium deficient states in cats and dogs.

DOSAGE: Each 2.34 gm (1/2 teaspoon) contains 2mEq (468 mg) of potassium gluconate in a palatable base. The suggested dose of Tumil-K for adult cats and dogs is 2.34 gm (1/2 teaspoon) per 10 lbs (4.5 kg) body weight twice daily. Dosage may be adjusted to satisfy patient's need.

ADMINISTRATION: Tumil-K is highly palatable. To initiate interest in taste, place small amount on the animal's nose or on the roof of its mouth. Gel may be placed on the paw after initial interest has been established.

KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Store at controlled room temperature 15˚-30˚C (59˚-86˚F).

PRECAUTION: Use with caution in the presence of cardiac disease, particularly in digitalized patients.

WARNING: Do not administer to cats with acute, oliguric, anuric or very advanced renal failure. Do not administer in other diseases where high potassium levels may be encountered, such as adrenal insufficiency, acute dehydration, urethral obstruction.
