    DANGER

    Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.

  • INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

    DIRECTIONS:
    Prepare an udder washing solution by mixing 1/2 ounce of METZ IODINE DETERGENT with 10 quarts of warm water.
    Solution will provide 25 PPM available iodine. Just before milking, wash the base of the udder and teats. Use a fresh towel for each cow. Do not dip used towel back into solution. When solution loses its bright amber color or becomes visibly dirty, discard and provide fresh solution. Do not use for sanitizing equipment.

  • GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

    CAUTION:
    Only use as directed. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing, and food. Avoid breathing vapors. Discard
    solution if it becomes faded or noticeably dirty. Do not use to sanitize milking equipment or utensils.

  • ACTIVE INGREDIENT

    INGREDIENTS:
    ACTIVE: Iodine complex (Provides 1.75% titratable iodine. Equivalent to 17,500 ppm).

    Contains Phosphoric Acid

  • OTHER SAFETY INFORMATION

    FIRST AID:

    IF SPLASHED IN EYES: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Do not rub affected area. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Seek immediate medical attention/advice.
    IN CASE OF CONTACT: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Seek immediate medical attention/advice.
    IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested or inhaled the substance; give artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device. If breathing is difficult, (trained personnel should) give oxygen. Delayed pulmonary edema may occur. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms occur.
    IF SWALLOWED: Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.

    PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
    Prevention:
    Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
    Response:
    Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Specific treatment (see supplemental first aid instructions on this label)
    Eyes:
    Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Skin: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Inhaled Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Ingestion Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting.

    Storage                                                            Disposal

    Store locked up.                                                Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.
