First Aid
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Contact a physician.
INGESTION: Drink large amounts of milk, egg whites, or water. Avoid alcohol. Contact a physician. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Note to Physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression, and convulsion may be needed.
Iodine Teat Dip with Aloe Vera for Dairy Cows
Formulated to aid in reducing the spread of organisms that might cause mastitis.
Alpha-(p-nonylphenyl)-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene) Iodine complex (providing 0.5% titratable iodine, equivalent to 5,000 parts per million titratable iodine.)
Use as-is; do NOT dilute. Immediately after milking, dip entire teat in undiluted product, and allow to air dry. Use fresh solution in a clean cup if the dip becomes visibly cloudy or dirty.
Contain spill. Collect product for salvage. Remaining product and rinsates should either be flushed with large quantities of water to sewer if permitted by regulations; or absorbed with some type of absorbent material. Contaminated absorbent should be placed in a suitable sealed container and deposited in an approved landfill in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
