Drug Facts

Active Ingredient Purpose

Salicylic Acid 0.5%..............................Antiseptic

Uses: for the treatment of acne.

WARNINGS

For external use only.

Flammable, keep away from open flame

When using this product:

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs immediately flush with water.

Using other topical medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor.

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help of contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Directions:

Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication

moisten a cotton ball or pad

cover the entire affected rea with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome drying or peeling occurs, reudce application to once a day or every other day.
